Open for breakfast, they are claimed to be the best in the area, from 8am, with alcohol being served from 10am every day. A former Morland pub in the town centre situated on a pedestrian street just off the central market square. The partly tiled frontage still bears the traditional Morland 'tile'. A traditional town centre pub with two bars and a recently refurbished rear dining area and outside patio.

The Dolly features live music, karaoke and discos plus TV sports and two separate dart board areas.

Good traditional pub food may be taken in a separate bar or the dining area – all day until 9pm (not Sunday eve or after 7pm Monday). Beers available include a host beer 'Dolly' from Greene King at 3.9% ABV.

Note: Entry for late Fri or Sat eves should be before 11.15pm.
