A real locals pub, fully-engaged with its local community; children and dogs are welcome. Large interior, all on one level around a central bar, but with three distinct areas, one of which is the "Sports Bar". Large covered patio to rear with large grassed area beyond with children's play area; both have ample tables and seating. Garden events in summertime. The pub has three handpumps, although usually only two beers available, from Greene King and Morland. Landlady supports wide range of community activities and events, not just local (and national) charities but children's activities every Saturday and during school holidays.
